We spent last week back in the studio at The Place as part of Choreodrome17, revisiting and investigating my piece Binary. With still a week of research and development left to go, I feel very happy about how it is going and also very happy to be able to work with the wonderful Bradley Smail, Daniel Persson, Elisa Vassena, Georgia Redgrave and Laura Lorenzi. Binary is also benefiting from some exciting new and / or reappearing collaborators: Kitty HInchcliffe (design); Jamie Forth (sound artist); Marie Yagami (projection mapper) and Jack Sergison, who has joined us, not as a performer but as a writer.
If you would like to see what we've been up to and would like the opportunity to give feedback, please join at Touch Wood at The Place on 13th September, alongside work from other Choredrome artists Andy Smith, Mbulelo Ndabeni and Eva Recacha. More info and tickets here
