Working with XU ZHI

Three years ago, Xuzhi Chen or Daniel (the head designer for XU ZHI) came up to me in the Barbican Gallery in London, being interested in my look and we got talking. We finally got to work together on XU ZHI Autumn/Winter collection London 2019. Director Tong Zhao and choreographer Anna Herrmann (with me as assistant ) put on a beautiful and fragile performance capturing the everyday - getting caught in the rain and waiting in line for a cup of coffee. This was brought to life by the hair and makeup and with such a talented team of dancers, performers and models. I look forward to XU ZHI's next adventure with performance.
