Dancers and maker
Tuan was born in Germany and is a London-based contemporary dancer and movement director.
He has trained and performed in physical theatre from 2006 - 2013 working with companies such as New International Encounter, Moonfool and touring in productions by Kasia Zaremba-Byrne.
In 2013, he went on to study at London Contemporary Dance School, completing the MA in Contemporary Dance in 2015.
He has performed in the UK and across Europe at venues and festivals such as The Lyric Hammersmith, Decibel Performing Arts Showcase Manchester, Saatchi Gallery, Tate Britain, Tala Dance Centre Zagreb, Theaterhaus Mitte Berlin, Teatro Campo Alegre Portugal and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Directing and choreography credits include work at Oval House Theatre, Paines Plough, BAC, Tanzfabrik Berlin, Kampnagel Hamburg and The Place London.
Tuan has taught movement and led theatre workshops at i.a. The Point Eastleigh, Hoxton Hall, National Youth Theatre, St .Mary's University and the University of Surrey.
He has joined Maresa Von Stockert's Tilted Productions in September 2014 and is part of Milla Trausch's Wideside Project working with refugees in Luxembourg since October 2015.
